Tradition

Disney World...
Some memories are more than just memories...
Some memories became traditions.

So when things that meant something special, no longer exist,  you notice it.  Example... The Fountain of Nations in Epcot, dedicated at the park opening, was alreadys a favorite photo opt with family and friends on each visit.  Plus it was beautiful to sit outside, usually at the Electric Umbrella or at the ice cream shop, and enjoy the fountain, the water jets, and the music.  Plus the mist falling back down was a great way to cool off on a hot day.

Now... Like with many things, it is gone forever. And whatever is going to eventually replace the once meaningful Fountain of Nations is still unclear. And the situation is not really any better since the demolition and construction seems to be taking forever.

The once heralded Fountain of Nations
Like many memories, is gone.

Another holiday tradition was
Osborne Festival of Lights

Extensive Christmas lights has also disappeared.
Cutbacks and reductions...
only truly noticeable with frequent visits.

Even the Official Icon of Studios was removed.

And as things change over time
The best nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom
SpectroMagic, ended, and was replaced with
The Old stale Electric Light Parade
that they had many years ago.

Of course it all disappeared with Covid.

Basically an ongoing practice of
Paying more, and getting less.
