Android to iPhone

Switching from Android to iPhone.

I've had my iPhone 12 pro max for several months.  Being a long time Android user,  I seem to find more and more things that annoy me about the iPhone. Yep several months later and the list continues to grow.  I tell myself of the perceived advantages of the iPhone , but am constantly beaten down by everything that from an Android fine of mind, simply does not make any logical sense. Planning to compile a list,  but for now in the short term,  and for the sake of sanity,  if you have been with Android for years, and are thinking of switching to iPhone... Just don't do it.  Of course this may have something to do with being older an having an adversion to change... Especially when most of it doesn't make any sense.

Where to start.

Icons on the home screen.  With Android you can put them anywhere you want and leave spaces between them if you like. iPhone will bunch them up in order and won't let you leave spaces. So it keeps you from grouping icons together and leaving spaces.  Annoying!

Music... I've got loads of music on my PC and I could easily copy them to an android phone. Not happening with the iPhone. Arggg! There's a involved  process to transfer to a service and then transfer to the iPhone.  Something easy made had and involved.  Annoying.

Transferring photos from PC to iPhone is an again not a simple process.  I have to save them to a service,  then download them to the iPhone.  Again unnecessarily harder and endlessly annoying.

Photo gallery. With Android,  click on the gallery icon and you have all your photo files.  3 wide... 4 wide... 6 wide... Or a list. iPhone has a master file, with copies to other files.  The first screen is almost useless,  click to go to next screen and all your files are only 2 files wide, with long scrolling to find the file you want.  Android arranges all files in alphabetical order... iPhone keeps them in chronological order for when they were created... So you have to endlessly scroll down to find the file you are looking for. Simply didn't make any sense!  Again,  extremely annoying since I usually have upwards of 50-60 different photo files. And in the beginning, I copied photos from the endless master file to a file folders... deleted photos from the master file... Thinking that I had them in my files folders... OMG  iPhone deleted photos from the master file and all the file folders.  Again, makes no logical sense.  Constant source of aggregation.

Rejecting incoming phone calls. With Android there's two options on the screen... Accept or reject. iPhone... Only the accept option is on the screen... To reject you have to double tap thebutton on the side.  REALLY... Why make this simple operation harder?  Annoying!

Some of my favorite Android apps are not available on iPhone. This includes my ginger keyboard which has arrows incorporated into the keyboard.  Also with Android you can correct spelling in the middle of the word by placing the cursor in the middle of the word.  iPhone... nope, you have go to the complete end of the word and backstage to the middle of the word to correct a letter. Makes not logical sense.  ANNOYING.

Plus the same apps that are on Android,  for some unknow reason work differently on the iPhone. Why? Annoying!

That's all for now... surely more to follow.
