Schools and what do they teach...

I really don't know, what are they teaching in schools?

Certainly nothing about geography or history,  

or how to read maps (as in paper maps), 

or know directions like 

North, West, South, and East.

Historical events. World geography. 
I just don't know!

Why do I say this? 
Asked three high school kids.
Questions and their answers:

What do you know about December 7th.

( what about it) (Christmas is coming)

Do you know what happened on December 7th?

(no...  yesterday)

No... In 1941

( is that when you were born) 

Do you know about the Pearl Harbor attack? 
( no... that's old history) 

Do you know who attacked Pearl harbor? 
(America) ... (Germany) ... (England)

Do you know where Pearl Harbor is?

( Florida)  ( California) (Alaska)

Okay... Which way is North? 
(up)

What direction is Florida from here? 
( South? )  ding,ding,ding ... Right! 

Name some presidents. 
(Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush)

Any others? 
( Washington,  Lincoln) 

Anyone else? 
(No,  they don't teach us that) 

July  4th, who do we celebrate independence from?

( Mexico) (Texas)

Who did the Americans fight in the civil war? 
Okay,  but of a trick question

(Mexico)  ( Canada)

Do you know where the Great Lakes are located? 
( Florida ) 

Where is the United States capital? 
(Richmond)

Okay... I'm gonna stop the questions.

What are they teaching in the schools? 

Answer... " how to simply pass tests" 

WHAT ARE THE KIDS LEARNING? 
Clearly ... Not how to think.

They don't question anything. 
They believe everything on social media. 
They have learned to be offended by everything. 

Tomorrow's adults?
