I'was just weeks before Christmas,
And all through the fields,
Not a creature was stirring,
Though I kept my eyes peeled.
As I drove through the farmlands,
and looked to and fro,
It was completely quiet,
as it started to snow.
So I made my way home,
going slow all the way,
Drove up to my house,
Then I heard someone say...
I've got something for you,
as they came into sight,
bringing arms full of gifts,
such a welcome delight.
Merry Christmas they said,
as they turn to take flight,
Merry Christmas to all,
and to all a good-night.
I'll remember this day,
as they drove out of sight,
T'was Big Brown bringing joy,
to this dark dreary night.
As I looked at the packages,
Piled high in a row,
big smile on each box,
no struggle to know,
As to where they did come,
it's easy to say,
where else would I buy,
Big "A" ... saves the day.
