We all have a favorite restaurant growing up. One of mine was a place out in the country side in Maryland north of Baltimore. Out on a farm... In fact that's how it got its name... Friendly Farms. The food is all home cooking served family style. You get your main dish and then all the sides are served family style, and you get a much as you care to eat. Ready enjoy something particular, just ask for more. Since we don't live close, it's had to order anything besides the jumbo lump crab cakes. Although the steak, roast beef, shrimp, and fried chicken are very good. And fried oysters if you prefer. Sides include a celery/pickle dish, cottage cheese, apple butter, fried biscuits, home made cole slaw, green beans, corn, fresh cut French fries, picked beets, and peaches. Plus there ice cream for dessert. So... You won't walk away hungry. During the summertime, be sure to take some bread to feed the ducks and geese at the pond.
