The perfect holiday gift.
Some things ya just can't make sense of. This beautiful colorful playful joyful Christmas sweater was at Walmart. I showed it to my wife filled with excitement. It sure seemed like the perfect holiday gift. She gave me that look. Ya know, the one that leaves me completely confused. I pointed out the different aspects of how great this sweater was... Not discouraged by her simple reply ... "NO!" Again pointing out how nice it was made yielded no positive reaction... Again... The LOOK and a stern "NO". Not detered... I noted how warm and comfortable it would be... And how other people would no doubt offer comments about this beautiful cheerful sweater and she would get compliments upon compliments. Her response was somewhat less than I had hoped. She mentioned something about my eminate probable death if she was surprised with this on Christmas day. Put back by her response... I switched my train of thought which was now completely detailed , and thought... I clearly should not get this sweater for her. BUT, if I took one of the Grand daughters to Walmart... Showed them is sweater and suggested that mommom would certainly be surprised to open this on Christmas day... Than they could get it for her, and I would be free from any backlash.
The rest of the story... Christmas morning... When the joy and holiday spirit overcomes her... And she loves this wonderful heartfelt gift. We'll just have to wait and see. Photos to follow. Merry Christmas to all.
Oh, wait, another thought... This world be the perfect Dirty Santa gift. Just imagine surprise and joy of the person that ends up with this colorful holiday gift. Not only would it bring the holiday cheer to this year... But many more to come.
