Ravens Football

Baltimore Ravens Football

Another season of football where high hopes and early results were great.
Ravens have 3 losses in a row. Prior to three weeks ago the Ravens were the number one seed in the AFC.

Week 12 ... Number 1 seed of the AFC.

Week 13 ... 1st loss of the leading streak. LOOSE #1 SEED. DIVISION LEADER.

Week 14 ... 2nd loss in a row... LOOSE DIVISION LEAD. WILD CARD SLOT.

Week 15 ... 3rd loss in a row... LOOSE WILD CARD SLOT.

THREE GAMES LEFT... ALL THOUGH GAMES.

WEEK 16 & 17 ... KNOCKED OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS.

Why?   Lots of reasons.  Some would say is because of everyone on the injured reserve list, or Covid protocols. But,  since week number 9, our quarterback, Lamar Jackson, has not been up to his usual high standards.  Not paying smart,  making too many bad decisions, plus his accuracy has much to be desired. Defenses have him figured out and he hasn't had any adjustments. Some say a lack of starters out injured is the problem, but Jackson I missing too many throws to the new receivers.
Too many throws off target... passes too low, passes too high, overthrown, underthrown, thrown and blocked by defenders, and interceptions. Known for his evasive runs, he's not finding running lanes, and holding the ball at arms length creating fumbles. Not paying smart and lack of accuracy is a bad combination contributing to the losses.
At the beginning of the season everyone was singing his praises. I think it went to his head.  By mid session sports analysts were questioning his ability, and despite wins,  they thought his ability was a house of cards waiting to collapse. It seems that they were right.  The house of cards has collapsed, and now analysts think that the Ravens aren't even going to make the playoffs.
Three remaining games... If they continue to play the same way... Their going to get their asses handed to them.  Another disappointing season.
