Debt...

Society survives on debt.  The country survives on debt. 
People survive on debt.

It's an answer for today...

But is it really an answer for the future. 
Who knows.  Logically it will someday fail. 

It's amazing that so many people are getting more and more in debt. 
And while many would like to get relief, 

There should not be any free rides. 
Forgiving debts means that society collectively will have to pay the bill. 

Just like people that live large, don't pay their taxes, 

and want the IRS taxes to be forgiven. 

Now there's a huge movement to have student loans forgiven. 
Are we going to go and give the money back to those that

already paid off their obligations? 
Are e going to make college free for future students

or forgive their costs for college? 

Then why should current loans be forgiven? 
They made the decision and commitment to repay 

college debt to get their education and degree. 
They got their degree,  a great paying job,

They have their financial future secure. 

So they got exactly what they bargained for. 

Maybe my mortgage should be forgiven, 

And I can go on living in my home. 

But to each their own...
