Early access to Magic Kingdom... once only the domain of Disney resort guests as "extra magic hours" ... now available for an additional price for all those that go to Disney. Go figure. For the price of $79 for adults and $69 for young kids... a family of 4 could purchase tickets ( in addition to regular park admission) for a mere $296 to enjoy a breakfast and early admission of 1 hour & 15 minutes to magic kingdom before it opens to regular daytime guests.
Wow... Perhaps its just me... but paying and extra $300 to have a standard breakfast and a mere 75 minutes of early rides limited to Fantasyland seems a bit over the top.
Great for Disney... who always finds endless ways to offer special consideration to guests with the ability to pay for those special benefits & privileges. Disney makes extra money, and those who can afford to pay get extra benefits.
Kinda goes with all the other pay for benefits & privileges that are being offered. Extra fast passes are available for additional prices. Preferred seating with meal packages for extra prices. Special fast passes for restricted special seating and viewing areas for shows & fireworks.... Just to mention a few.
I remember when every guest to the parks was on an even playing field. More & more today... Those with the ability to pay extra, get extra privileges.
And as prices continue to increase for the average person, their ability to enjoy attractions, rides, shows, and fireworks is being encroached upon by those that can buy special privileges. So the average guest will wait longer for rides, be seated further back for shows, and not be allowed in prime special viewing areas... because they are reserved for those with the ability to pay for benefits.
Nevertheless, if you have the extra money to spend, this will be of great benefit to you knowing that you can, and will be elevated above the masses.
But you can draw your own conclusions of this is a benefit worth buying. Any advantage you can get over the general public is certainly better than fighting the masses during busy times.
