Western dining

Western style dining. In years past,  this was a little know Disney restaurant at Magic Kingdom. Why? Well, as we experienced while going to Disney in our hay day... 2004 - 2013  as cast members... The Diamond Horseshoe was rarely open except for extremely busy times. During moderate and slow tuned it was never open. But it was sometimes used for special events like the Halloween party. So we rarely saw it open.  Such a nice facility rarely  used. Perhaps that has changed now with the park being much busier. In any event,  if it's open when you visit,  the atmosphere is really nice,  even though the food is fairly average.  Food in the parks at Disney... At best,  most of it is average.  Few are exceptional,  too many are below average. But all in all... I'd eat there simply for the atmosphere. The lunch menu is typical counter service food,  dinner is family style all you can eat.  I'd say bon appetit... But that would elevate your expectations resulting in disappointment. FOOD: Average ... ATMOSPHERE: Good. DINNER SHOW: When available... Entertaining (but a one and done show).
