Handy phrases that are a part of our everyday life. Most, when you think about them, don't make much sense.... Some because the original meaning has been lost to time.
I remember my grandfather saying... "that really burns my ass" when something went wrong.
We use a lot of them, sometimes everyday... but most seem to be fading away with the younger generations.
One we needed to remember... and use more often:
When someone says "I'm offended" by something ridiculous, meaningless, absurd, or trivial... we need to have this response ready to go.
"NOBODY GIVES A RATS ASS THAT YOU'RE OFFENDED" ... YOU need to grow up, suck it up, get a life, and move on line the rest of us.
