The Right Time... to go to Disney. If you have the ability to choose any time of the year to go to Disney... Choose your options carefully. There's lots of sites that will give you information of not only the time of year to go, but daily options as to which parks to visit. They are extremely helpful and beneficial to get maximum enjoyment out of your vacation. Believe me, during peak crowd times, it will take you twice as long to see half as much.... and the wait times for lines will be 3 to 4 times longer than slower times. Fighting crowds, longer lines for rides, attractions, shows and even food... well... it will suck the fun out of your valuable family vacation time.
Another tip...
If you are staying at a Disney resort hotel... Take advantage of extra magic hours.
But note... morning extra magic hours... that after the park opens to the public it will be busier because of all the general admission guests plus the resort guests having been lured to that park for early admission. We would go in early, then go to another park if things got to crowded.
If you are staying off property... Avoid the parks that have extra magic hours... They will be more crowded than usual.
