Social Interaction

Social interaction... It's it a product of...
A state of mind? A personality trait? A product of your environment? Geographic location? Simply getting old? Wanting or needing a social change?
All good questions.. So it's there a simple answer?
As for me...
Always had an outgoing personality... tempered with individuality and being self sufficient.
My work environment of 30 years necessitated me to be business social and interactive.
After retirement I worked at Disney... wanting & enjoying being social and interactive.
Later, working in campgrounds I had a similar situation of being very social and interactive.
All of these included a geographic and environment very conducive to being very social.
Final retirement... drastic change to a geographic and environmental location to farm country in Virginia,  hours away from any city, and even 12 miles away from small towns. Basically socially isolated.
All aspects of being social are inter-related. Once my environmental location changed to a pretty much to being geography isolated, the ability to interact social in person greatly diminished... followed by a change in my state of mind , resulting in a personality change to being somewhat socially withdrawn... not really wanting to meet our interact with new people.... well, everything changed.
Changed for good of bad... It's not clear at the moment.
We certainly are a product of our environment,  despite state of mind or personality. Getting older doesn't seem to help either. I miss being more social,  but ever increasingly enjoy the solstice of solitude.
Heading the right direction? Idoeno. Only time will tell.
Y'all have a great day... Maybe even say hello to a stranger and make a new friend.
