Sadly gone...
If nothing else in life... Change is inevitable. So it goes with Disney. Here's a small list of what is never too be seen again. Some have lost popularity, and some will be missed, leaving you to wonder why? Some are replaced with something new and better... some are simply eliminated. You may reach the conclusion that many are simply a cost cutting elimination and question why... when prices continue to raise. So many things that simply eliminated like SpectroMagic, and the Electric Light Parade, which drew massive crowds... Eliminated! Street performers, and street shows... Eliminated. Overall... having been to Disney extensively over 15 years, it sometimes appears that you are paying much more, for much less.
All magic comes with a price. Less magic, higher prices, bigger crowds & longer waiting times. But if you were not there long term, and are infrequant visitors... you will probably never notice what's missing. First time visitors will still be amazed by it'd seemingly untarnished magic. For me, its a shame to see so many enjoyable things be eliminated.
How could they eliminate the evening parades like SpectroMagic... Simply gone.
Osborne Lights at Studios...eliminated.
Walkway lights to World Showcase... eliminated.
