Take the boat. One of our favorite was to get around at Disney is the boats. They're basically everywhere. Around the Magic Kingdom area, the seven seas lagoon & bay lake... Epcot & the Epcot resorts and to Studios....and Downtown Disney ( Disney Springs) and the water ways to the resorts of Key West, French Quarter, Riverside, and Disney Springs.
But my favorite boat is the small launches that take you from The Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom. They also travel between the campground, the Polynesian, the contemporary, and the grand floridian. May time less crowded than the bigger transports... and on my occasions, we we the only ones on board... depending on the time of day. Very relaxing. Many times at Magic kingdom closing, bee would purposely miss the bigger boat, and wait to catch the small launches. Very handy to go to the Polynesian for dinner at Ohana's... or over to the campground. We have even took them over to the contemporary to catch the monorail back to TTC... (Ticket & transportation center) and transfer to the Epcot monorail... saving the late night bus to get back to the resort. Here's to smooth sailing.
