Now there's a country with the right idea! Unlike the U.S. that is basically a welfare state nationwide. The government via politicians maintain lifelong welfare people, that have never worked and paid into the system. Why? Because a 5-8% welfare vote on election day keeps the politicians in office and welfare coffers filled... and those in power to maintain welfare... literally ate buying the votes.
