Lots of things come to mind with a walk in the woods. First and foremost, nature... the trees, bushes, ferns, flowers, wildlife, and new discoveries, and sometimes even a bit of fantasy. But sometimes, on occasion, your imagination coupled with a mixture of common sense & fear can put thoughts into your head. But its just a nice walk in a friendly little woods... right. First is all the beauty. Then new discoveries and some unique old trees. One looks like a dragon leaning down. Some look like scary faces... they don't scare me, as you remember that silly sign saying "don't go in the woods". Then those thoughts fade as you watch butterflies & bees flying about going from flower to flower. Then some movement over in a clearing, a bear & her cub before they scamper off into the trees. Around the next bend is a small creek that you follow to nice waterfall... so beautiful. Ya just never know what you'll find in the woods. Your walk continues on the trail back home when you see two bears that you have seen before... I know them... they wouldn't hurt a flea. And your adventure for that day comes to an end. Thoughts go to what usually occupies consciousness... food.
