Deer Crossing Sign...yep, its a warning to be alert and cautious. You see them everywhere in the countryside. So we all know what they mean... Right?
It's talk radio... a woman calls in to talk about accidents involving deer on the country roads. It takes the guys at the radio station a few moments to truly realize what the woman is saying. She thinks that the deer warning signs are in the wrong place. The road is very busy most of times and to have the deer crossing signs on the road here is extremely dangerous, there have been numerous accidents because of it. The county should move the sign to a less traveled road so that the deer can cross roads in a much safer place, instead of the busy road where the signs are now. What? Ok, now I get it. If the county would move the signs then the deer would be compelled to cross roads that are much less busy... Therefore less accidents! Makes sense to me. It's not a blonde joke... but certainly needs to be.
