Racism. There are several aspects to racism.
The worst is racism taught to kids, passed down from parents and grandparents... anger & hatred that perpetuates full blown racism, giving no resolution or hope... only continued hatred.
Real causes and problems created by acts of racism. Society can only take steps to eliminate acts of racism... root it out, surpress it, and end it.
So how to end racism? Almost impossible when confronted with three imposing elements.... actual acts of racism, racism anger passed on to kids, and racism emotionally causing a raging fire of hate in society for the sake of creating more hatred.
Add to this all the incidental influences that perpetuate social racism and perpetuate social divisions. Movies and television shows that emphasize race as inclusive or exclusively situations.
Daily news that in reporting the news either emphasize or minimize the impact of the events. And it may not seem like much, but it implies racial factors that have no bearing as to the tragedy.
So where will it end? Sad to say... I'm not optimistic.
And it's all based on a mental attitude, emotional perception , and psychological conditioning.

Examples: In the news today ... 10 "black" people were shot in a shopping mall. Wouldn't it have been sufficient too just report the news that 10 people were shot... rather than suggesting racial overtones... adding in some small degree, resentment and racial division. Small, but when just about every news broadcast multiplies this in hundreds of stories... It adds up to being a huge influence.
Then there's the inconsistent reporting the news from a racial stand point.
Then there's the inconsistent reporting the news from a racial stand point.
Two different ways of reporting. Black man shot by a "white" policeman is over emphasized... While in another report, a black man is shot by police.... not mentioning that the police man was black. Can't the news simply report that a man was shot by police... leaving out racial overtones... Adding to more social division. Perpetuating the ongoing problem of racism & prejudice.
So where will it end? Sad to say... I'm not optimistic.
