It wasn't too long ago when U.S. citizens were trying to by prescription medications from Canada and Mexico. And even with legitimate prescriptions from doctors, buying meds from outside the U.S. was against the law and deemed potentially dangerous.
So... Why would people by meds from Canada or Mexico? The Cost!

Meds made here in the U.S. were sold to Canada & Mexico for their people. The cost issue... U.S. citizens could buy those same meds, made in the U.S. from Canada at a fraction of the prices here in the States. Even less than most prescription plans.
One example: Celebrex. Suggested price in the states was $312. With my prescription plan $121. The price in Canada $38. The results of the greedy corrupt drug brokers in the states.
But I digress.... Once not acceptable to buy medications from outside the States... Now we get not only meds via other countries, but meds that are made in this countries. Good example... China.

Do we really want to have a potential foe manufacture medications for the U.S.? ... TWO RED FLAGS... Supply issues or quality issues.
Just something to think about.
