NFL Baltimore Ravens
The controversy over the quarterback
Lamar Jackson.
Should he stay or should he go?
Everybody has an opinion. No question he was very good for running the ball to pick up needed yards. Pretty good at short passes... Somewhat less at long pass... and racked up good stats. The last two seasons has brought up the dangers of the quarterback running the ball too much. Then getting injured, as he had done the past two seasons, and makes you wonder about the risks. Of late, the other teams have got him figured out for his running game... So he is not as effective as in the past. Early on he took them by surprise, that is a different story now. The lack of consistency and accuracy in the passing game has been disappointing. And the other teams Defense is able to key in, watching his eyes, looking from the start where he is going to throw the ball... Making his passing game even less effective. Too many off target passes. Basically he is not an intelligent player compared to the big name successful quarterbacks. Too many bad decisions.
So, now being average mediocre, and prone to injury and missing games or not performing well ... he wants to be paid like the big name quarterbacks, top dollar, and have it guaranteed even if he can't play. All in all... adding up to Los of red flags.
So, whether he stays or goes to another team, good decision or not... Only time will tell. As for me... too many red flags.
Plus it's been reported... Lamar I'd not happy in Baltimore. Now there's a big red flag.
