What's Wrong?
Pardon this post... just something to think about!
First off... Covid was a national emergency. And the help for businesses was voted on by both parties. It benefited the business, the workers, their families, and eventually the public at large. Relief from a pandemic which was no fault of their own.
Student debt relief. NOT THE SAME! The students knew and got exactly what they bargined for. There was no emergency, no crisis.

The same thing that's always wrong.... Politics... And the politicians that do anything to buy votes to keep them in power.
Because that's exactly what it is. Politicians wanting to forgive student loans debts... solely to get votes.
Claiming that other politicians are blocking the debt relief... when they bailed out businesses during covid.

Student debt relief. NOT THE SAME! The students knew and got exactly what they bargined for. There was no emergency, no crisis.
They got their education and there responsibilities of the loan were theirs... And they accepted it. And with their education they got the best jobs to make more money than the average working joe. It benefits them... not the public who will have to pick up the tab for their education.
And what about all the people that paid off their students loans in the past? Or those in the future? Only the current loans will be forgiven. Are they going to provide a free educations at premium colleges for my grandkids? THE ANSWER IS NO.

SO WHAT MAKES THIS GROUP SO SPECIAL? THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE ALL THEIR STUDENT LOANS FORGIVEN?
POLITICS AND POLITICIANS THAT SIMPLY WANT THEIR VOTES.
BUYING VOTES. POLITICIANS THAT HAVE NO BETTER WAY TO GET VOTES ON THE MERITS OF THEIR PERFORMANCE... SO THEY HAVE TO BUY THE VOTES... AT THE EXPENSE OF THE TAX PAYERS.
To say it's not fair is an understatement. IT'S WRONG.
AND THE POLITICIANS THAT SUPPORT IT ARE MORALLY CORRUPT.
