POLICE SHOWS 

Things that happen in Police Shows. 
Do they make sense? 
Does it really happen in real life? 
Does it seem strange? 
Are they logical? 

 Women always scream when they see a dead body. 
Police always yell to the suspect 

20-30 feet away... stop police...  So they can run!

One time they wear gloves to preserve evidence,

another time they don't.

Obivious logical clues are ignored the entire show,

until the shows end when... Brilliant revelation.

Then there's the ever popular police promise...

Testify for us... we can protect you... (and they die)

Or... the police will leave two officers outside

to protect you. Guess what,  they die first!

Police bring hand guns to an automatic assault gun fight.

Police only bring 2 or 4  to get the 20 bad guys.

Wait... No one watching the back door. 
Police give up their guns in favor of a hand to hand fight.

Emergency across town... agents rush to get there 

(couldn't call ahead to others closer to respond quicker?)

Fair fight? Police have a gun.  Criminal has a knife.

Just shoot him!

And... Perhaps the worst...

Given the opportunity to kill the bad guy...

They take him alive. 
So he can escape later and kill more.

 And as I always say... Time and time again...

YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED HIM.

Of course,  me I'm old school...

Perhaps old west...

They want to run... Shoot them...

maybe just in the leg or both. 
Not going to chase you.

Besides... no sense taking the chance of them getting away.
