Not so many years ago when we were cast members, we would take pictures of the guests posing.... And to get them to smile we would say... " Smile, Mickey's getting all of dads money". It was kiddingly true back then, but at least everyone could still smile. Times have certainly changed.
They say now, that a family of four... 2 adults, 1 child (3-9) and 1 under 3... For a 7 day visit will cost over $6,000 being conservative. To make everyone's dreams come true... $10,000.
Add to this... prices going up at 2 1/2 times the annual inflation rate for many years. Big price increases for staying at the resort hotels, park admission, food and snacks, and merchandise. Then consider everything that was once included free of charge... you will now have to pay extra for.
To justify post povid price increases, Disney sights high demand and supply issues. Well, we are all paying for supply shortage issues, Disney is doubling that increase. And Disney, under guise of reducing demand and controlling crowds to offer a better guest experience... Disney voweled to keep raising prices until demand and crowds came under control. Prices went up repeatedly but did nothing to control overcrowding... It only served to make more money for Disney. A policy of Bob to make more profits.
