Years ago... It was the bad,  the good,  and the best. 
Today... It's the the bad, the very bad, and the worse.

It's basically bad no matter when you go. 
But this may help...

Star Wars Galactic Cruiser Resort (voyages)

Select stays being cancelled.

2 day - 2 night all immersive voyages 

Cost $5,000 to $7,000 ... Yes for 2 night resort stay. 
Cancelled for low occupancy... Go figure. 

Special Evening Events at Magic Kingdom

Similar to the Halloween & Christmas 

which are limited time frames

The New Special Evening Event seems to be

in the same format.... Starts at 7pm.

Great idea for Disney since the Halloween & Christmas Parties

were so successful ... For making more money. 

Daytime guests pay full price for the day admissions. 
Then are required to leave the park at 7pm.

( on selected days / dates)

Then Disney charges $135 for the evening after 7pm.

So,  you can have your cake and eat it too. 
Two paydays for the same days work.

There are the free perks...

And the implied promise

Of shorter lines & lower wait times.
