Once upon a time...
Once upon a time... Disney Resort Rooms continued with the same "Magic" that you experienced in the parks. Themed to the resort that made feel the flavor of you favorite resort hotel, right into your room.
Everything changes over time, and just like some people say that Disney magic in the parks is not what it once was, so it goes for the report hotels. It was nice to return to your room and still be immersed in the ambiance characteristic of that resort. Be it the Beach Club, The Animal kingdom lodge, or the wilderness lodge.
Now it would be hard to tell from the rooms which resort hotel you were at. It's not unexpected to expect to pay more... But paying more, on top of an already premium price, and getting less ... Well to say that the magic is gone isn't the entire story here.
