Hot Sauce ratings... Who's the best?
"It's a Southern thing" rates the best hot sauces.
The top two... Franks and Crystal hot sauce. I totally agree! But I'd place Crystal just the tiniest bit about Frank's, but live them both.
The rest of the list, we agree, the rest are distant from the two leaders.
But for the rest, my list differs from Matt's.

1. Crystal hot sauce
2. Frank's hot sauce
3. Cholula hot sauce
4. Old Bay hot sauce (a bit limited, best on seafood)
The rest I won't even rate... They're all in the bottom. Tabasco hot sauce, although a favorite of a lot of people, I just don't care for the flavor. "Louisiana brand" hot sauce and Texas Pete are merely okay but they're my least favorite. Note: Walmart brand hot sauce to me is exactly the same as Crystal hot sauce... Same bottle, same level of heat and flavor... And it's probably made by Crystal. So there you have it.
My best choices... Crystal hot sauce ( and Walmart hot sauce) closely followed by Frank's Hot Sauce. Important to remember... With shortages and empty shelves in the grocery stores, when you find your favorites, pick up a couple extra bottles.
