The Christmas Spirit
Every year, the Christmas spirit is harder and harder to get into. Maybe it's become too commercialized. Maybe it's become more trouble than ever. It was all much simpler years ago. Music... Lights... Decorations... Trimming the Tree... Christmas decorations everywhere... and shopping. It all seems to turn the good feeling of Christmas into more negatives rather than positives.
The Christmas spirit hits me later and later... Maybe by Christmas eve... Maybe Christmas morning... Maybe this year, not at all. It's a lot... Trying to psych yourself up to the holiday spirit. And when it's come and gone... The more months of winter. Yea!
