Sobering thoughts

Sobering thoughts...

The hour glass of life.

Life is uncertain... And No one can escape death. And no one knows how much sand is left in the hour glass. If you survive accidents throughout your life, eventually you will reach the those golden years.  And with each passing year there is certainly less sand to drop.  Less and less sand with each passing year. Beyond 80, the average lifespan,  you would certainly think about it more than ever before. After 80... It could be said that you are living on borrowed time. By 80, probably half of the people you grew up with are no longer alive. By 90, fewer and fewer are still alive.  I truly can not imagine 100, when everyone you grew up with is gone. Your spouse, more than likely your children,  possibly even some Grand children. Everything , I mean everything that has transpired in your life has drastically changed.
So, back to that hour glass, living on borrowed time... Our something working its way towards it. Not that anyone should dwell on it... But enjoy everyday... Cherish family... And continue to make memories.  Take photos... Then you can look back fondly on this memories through those photos.  Tell the people you love how much they mean to you.  And that you are thankful for them being in your life... Everyday!  What a nice segway from a not so pleasant thought, to the whole Thanksgiving thing, and its meaning.

Y'all have a great and meaningful Thanksgiving.
