Country life. There's the beauty of nature and rolling farm fields green with crops and grasslands. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing... There's a freedom from congestion, noise, and overcrowding. Sometimes once you go past the quiet beauty of the country you also find a certain degree if isolation. While everyone locally seems casually friendly, there's little interaction. Perhaps it's mostly for lack of effort on my part aided by the shear distance between the homes and businesses. Nevertheless, it certainly perpetuates isolation. And while some small part if me misses a busy social interaction, most of me immensely enjoys country life... but still lacking that spark of interaction with others. Working at Disney and various campgrounds for many years provided lots of social interaction everyday balanced with home life. Adjusting beyond the initial sigh of relief as I enjoyed the country life now gives way to moments of a more solitary existence. You always miss something when there are changes in your life, adjustments are sometimes disconcerting. All in all, I wouldn't trade it for any part of my past, but still, some things are missed. So hello to everyone that's still in a busy life, filled with social interaction. Enjoy and cherish all the good despite congestion, crowding, and noise. Nothing is absolutely perfect, but every place has its special appeal at just the right time in your life. Y'all have a great day... and don't forget to look & live for the good and stop occasionally to smell the flowers. Certainty do miss all the thing friends that we made over the year. To those still traveling... happy and safe travels. To those that have settled down... always enjoy what you have, and cherished the memories of a life on the road. Until we meet again. So where am I.... see that little white speck at the bottom middle of the photo... well, we about a quarter mile west of it. Yep, deep in farm country. Sa..lute! Now where's that hee-haw gang.
