Well, the list is long.
As are the reasons.
So after much debate, the powers to be, gave in to those that were offended and renamed some sports teams.
NFL Washington Redskins
MLB Cleveland Indians.
So just who was offended by this and why? Who knows.
But now, Native Americans are fighting back since the Washington Redskins was named in honor of a great indian chief. Clearly, Native Americans were not offended by the team name (Redskins) that was involved with changing thevteam name.
It will probably never get changed back. Should have never been changed in the first place.
