Vacation Time

Vacation Time...

It's almost vacation time. 

So where you gonna go?

Yea!  Were going to Disney World.

What to expect.

(its not like it use to be)

Expectations...

Hotter weather... Huge Crowds...

Long waits for everything...

Rides, attractions, shows,

Food, drinks, snacks,

Everything. 

The problem... too many people.

Have a magical day...

Hard to imagine this being a good time. 

Then there's the costs.

Not too long ago...

Current crowd levels...

Attendance ... Once upon a time... 

Magic Kingdom ... normal 41,300... busy 55,000

Epcot... Normal 25,700... busy 45,000

Animals Kingdom... normal 21,000... busy 30,000

Studios... normal 22,400.... busy 30,000.

Once upon better times... 

Wait times... very popular rides 30-45 minutes

Many rides 5-10 minutes

Several even walk-ons.

Too many people... Population explosion...

Parks have basically remained the same size...

as attendance escalates well beyond 

the ability to even enjoy your visit / vacation.

Elsewhere...

Huge Crowds are everywhere.

Kinda takes the fun out of it all.
