Family Dinner

Once upon a time...

Family dinner was all fresh foods cooked served family style.

At the family kitchen table. 

Then everyone got too busy to cook.

Quick n easy was the new normal

Enter the era of the tv dinners.

From freezer, to oven, to table in 30 minutes.

No clean up, everything was a throw away.

Even the plastic dinnerware.

Paper cups added to the disposability.

Tv dinners... What can I say. 
NOT THE GREATEST. 

Then somewhere in time people started dating out more.

But... home cooked meals started to make a comeback. 

Enter premium prepared frozen meals

Like Stouffer's and Marie Callender's

Home cooking declines once again.

Now, we are finally returning to home cooked meals.

Buc-ees!

Wish we had a Buc-ees near us.

Good gas prices.

Food better than local fast food restaurants. 

But... we live too far from any major highway. 
Too far from any big city.

Too far even from any big towns. 

We have to drive 10 miles to get to any businesses. 
But, there's a Lowes & Walmart

And for anything else...

There's Amazon. 

Old bones

Easy for some, not so much for others.

Because they are assholes.

Some are forced upon the US. 

Some seem to be choices.

One thing is for sure... no matter the war...

No matter the side...

Leaders,  dictators, politicians,

and those in power initiate Wars,

that citizens fight and die in. 

Think what you will ... Perspectives...

Only 17 years at peace time.

Blue Angels on Prime  

On Amazon Prime this month... The Blue Angels.

If you are a fan... not to be missed. 

We were staying in Navarre Beach for 3 years just a quick trip

to Navel Air Station Pensacola Florida.

We could go to the numerous Blue Angel practices

at the Navel Air Station quite a few times. 
 

The special on Prime is very informative. 
But nothing can come close to experiencing 

The Blue Angels in person. 

The excitement of seeing & hearing the jets.

And the Thundurus heart pounding feeling 

as they do fly-bys.
