Seems so long ago. And from mostly all perspectives today, it is. Sadly some people get upset over those events... 161 years ago.
From my perspective, particularly when I was young, there was still people alive that lived during the civil war. So it didn't seem so long ago. Nevertheless, history is indeed... history.
