Flash back to 70 years ago...
Car compass so you knew what direction you were heading... along with a road map to see how to get there. Note: you had to know and keep track of where you were on the map... Otherwise you were lost.
If you were lost, you'd stop at a gas station to ask directions. They always knew back then. They also gave you a free road map if you needed one.
And if you need gas, 3 guys would run out to help you. One to get your gas, one to check the oil, one to check the air in your tires, and then wash your front and rear windows. And all for 29¢ per gallon.
