Something that really works when used properly. I tried a safe place box, you know, put it in a safe place so you can find it, but it got too full too quick.
So a "safe place log book" works great, especially for seldom used stuff. Liked the rain coat that I looked for last week. I didn't log it.... So I looked everywhere... I mean everywhere. And after searching for 50 minutes I found them. And wouldn't you know it... It was in the last place I looked for it. A typical story repeated all too often. So just to feel better, I told Shelly it was in the next to the last place I looked. Yep... I got the look. So I explained... It's always in the last place I look... So I wanted to be different this time. I looked in one more piece after I found them. Note... They weren't there. So, for a change, it wasn't in the last place I looked.
Just a little bit of levity after being aggravated for 50 minutes searching and searching.
Two things: you have to remember to write down where you put it. And, if you move it, remember to log where you put it. Okay... There things... You have to remember where the long book is, if you move it.
Problems solved! Go figure.
