So it only stands to reason that we are continually bombarded with news of violent crimes, shootings, and killings... 24/7/365. AND IT'S GETTING WORSE DAY BY DAY.
And it's said to say that criminals have more rights than victims. Police are condemned for just about any action against criminals, wanting to defund police. Not only do locals condemn police but do anything to hinder investigations (I didn't see nothing), to actually protecting criminals of violent crimes. While at the same time demand equal rights action for protection from criminals that live in their neighborhoods, committing crimes and killings in those sane neighborhoods.
Multiple repeat offenders that continue to perpetrate crimes on every level from robbery to murder. Criminals have more rights to continue their criminal endeavors and are NEVER HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR PART IN CONTRIBUTING TO ANY NEGATIVE OUTCOME... NOTHING IS THEIR FALT. PEOPLE WILL MARCH IN PROTEST AND MAKE HEROS OF CAREER CRIMINALS SHOULD THEY BE INJURED OR KILLED BY POLICE WHILE THEY ARE COMMITTING VIOLENT ACTS. A justice system that is failing... a prison system that is failing... And a legal system that is designed to overly protect criminals and put them back on the street.
So why do I watch the news even though its limited? I TRULY DON'T KNOW. Network news from the most violent City in the country. And not to put to fine a point on it... If a white person or police kills a black criminal, it is blown up as an outrage, and protested for criminal justice. But the vast majority of killings in D.C. are blacks killing other Black people, but this is played down, often times not even reported as black on black killings. The news media sensationalizing the news creating more Prejudice and even more social controversy and division.
I try to get information on important news issues, but basically, just about all we get is more and more crime ridden news and controversy.
I think I'm much better just having a news Black out and not watching any of it. Do you ever get the feeling that the only good violent criminal, is a dead violent criminal. Thank goodness that law abiding citizens still have the rights to have guns to protect themselves, their families, their neighbors, and when needed, even strangers, when violent criminals shooting start others in public venues. At least if the criminals are shot dead in the commission of violent crimes, they won't be repeat offenders.
