Faint feelings... feelings of deja vu... hidden memories that can not be consciously recalled but influence our feelings and demeanor that makes up our personality. Unexplained fears and feelings at influence our emotions. That's a lot to think about.
For me: I have an unrealistic fear of drowning... Along with a unexplained intense attraction to anything relate to the Titanic. Go figure that one out. Then there's an intense feeling of deja vu on certain Civil War battlefields. On one occasion I could faintly hear the sounds of soldiers scuffling in the battle. Faintly smell the gunpowder from cannon and firearms. Feel the emotions of a battle. Only to find out that on reinactments were happening... The was no reason to hear anything.
Yet, there was the feelings of having that experience. Ancestral memories? Who knows.
Going someplace for the first time, yet knowing what was around the corner before you got there.
Genetic memories? Could explain many things.
