The day was seasonably warm with sunny skies... very hot in the sun, but a nice breeze in the shade. Then a thunderstorm rolls in... dark angry clouds, high winds ripping through the trees, heavy thunder, lots of lightening, and heavy rain. By evening, clear skies and cooler temperatures. Perfect night for a campfire under the stars. Gazing at the moon in the glow of the campfire. The only sound to be heard was the crackling fire. Everything else faded away except for the fire, the trees, and the moonlit sky, which was a bit mesmerizing. All that existed was me, the fire, and the moon. No doubt just like it was experienced by others for thousands of years. Beautiful and inspiring.
Take a little time for yourself to enjoy this kind of an evening.
