Changes

Changes in nature. I was sitting on the deck enjoying the cooler evening, gently swinging back and forth (I live the porch swing), simply relaxing. Within a short span of perhaps 30 minutes,  I watched the sun setting... blue skies turning into angry clouds, the trees going from calm to being tossed in the wind. The sky and trees filled with crows making their "caw" crys competing with the sound of the wind wrestling the trees. Did I mention the heat lightening? Then clear skies and a calmness where there was no wind,  no sounds, and the fireflies, or if you are from the north, lighting bugs, lit of the last remaining fading bits of daylight. Followed by several bats flattering around making a squeaking sounds as if highly disturbed by something. Quite unique and dramatic changes in such a short time. All this before the evening dampness drove me back inside.
