Party Time

Halloween Party Time at Magic Kingdom.
The Not So Scary Halloween Party is generally something not to be missed.
The only negative is the elevated pricing for the party.  So it's not the value that it once was.
The good news for party guests... There's lots of evenings to enjoy the party.
The bad news is for regular daytime guests at Magic Kingdom... Since the party stars at 6 PM it means a short day for daytime guests. So you have even less time to go see and do everything.  Note... You'll pay the same price for your daytime visit as you would if clad at 11pm. That's 5 hours less for the same money.  Worse yet, party guests can arrive early at 4pm which means 4-6 PM will be even more crowded... So you last 2 hours of daytime use will be impossible.
Great for Disney... They get full price for daytime guests,  plus extra money for party guests. Double the admission prices with a single day effort.
September.. 14 party evenings ($139) .  October... 22 party evenings. ( up to $179).
Magic Kingdom in October... 22 party nights... Only 9 full daytime days. Not a good time to be daytime guests at Magic Kingdom.
Add to the sold out party nights,  there's the Halloween party annual pass $299 that gives you admission to any and all the party nights (except 10/31)... Adding to the overcrowding each night and the 4-6pm crunch.
The new phrase for Disney overcrowding... crowdcastrophe... Go figure.

If you've been to the party before,  it may not be worth the price of admission... Price verses value. It's certainly less attractive.  If you live in the area,  something to consider... The annual Halloween pass... enabling you to go to numerous party dates.  To crowded,  see some one night and more on other nights. (plus the added expense of parking on each visit).

For the whole story,  check out the Facebook site... Great for Disney information.
