Disney Off Season? When crowds are less?
It's a very subjective issue. In past years, traditionally once the kids went back to school, September was an off season time and the crowd levels fell. Some articles say that there is no off season as to the crowd level. Some say that crowd level drops. It's all about getting a better experience at Disney, less crowds equals a better experience. I'd hate to think that the Facebook sites that report Disney news are tainted with any agenda... And I don't think they do. So why do the sites differ as to their impression of crowd levels? Like everything else... It's all about perspective. There's no doubt that when Magic Kingdom approachs capacity... 80,000 - 90,000, or even closer to the 100,000 limit... It's terribly crowded and get experience is greatly reduced. So when levels do to 60,000 there's no doubt that crowds are reduced to what some may call of season. Perspective... If you visited Magic Kingdom frequently in the past and the park peaked at 60,000 and off season was in the 40,000 range, you will have a different perspective of what is crowded and what is off season. Popular rides 10 years ago had wait times of 45-60 minutes during peak season. Most rides/ attractions were 15-20 minutes, and many were walk ons. Off season wait times were even better. On selected days off season days, Magic Kingdom attendance was a low 30,000. Again... Perspective.
The new off season of 60,000 was once the peak season crowd in years past. So your perspective of crowds is very subjective. The new off season is what use to be peak season crowds.
The good news... The new perspective is that crowds are going to be down for September.
