Who would come... If or when the United States
Faces environmental and economic disaster?
Just something to think about. Hopeing for the best... But in reality expecting something much less.
The United States jumps in world wide to aid other countries in environmental disasters, human rights issues, and those being oppressed or attacked during wars. And that is good and proper.
The U.S. has saved countries at our great financial expense, an expense that not only to the American people endure today, but will endure those economic expenses for years to come. Multiplied by all those that are helped. And there is little or no restitution for those economic considerations. The National debt continues to spiral even at the expense of future generations.
So... The question remains. Who will come to help if or when the United States is hit with catastrophic environmental disasters? Or for that matter, attacked by a foreign country? It would be a nice thought that all those that the U.S. has helped would come to our aid. Some close allies will certainly help, but how much? Others that have been helped... Will they be willing or able to help?
