Sticker Shock for food...

I'm usually the one that has issues with higher prices on food in the store and fast food.
And my wife tries to calm me down about prices.

Today... We felt like a little ice cream

while driving home.

So we pulled into McDonald's

to get their small hot fudge sundae.

It use to be 99¢... Then $1.29

And it seems I remember $1.39 at one time.
Now it's been a while, several months since

last getting the hot fudge sundae,

So we expected the price to be a little higher.

We ordered 2 sundaes at the drive up window.
Drove up to the pay window.

The guy says... $6.39

WHAT? WE ORDERED THE 2 SUNDAEs.

AND THIS TIME MY WIFE LOST IT...

WHAT THE HELL? ... TO THE GUY.

PAID, DROVE OFF AND CROSSED THAN OF

ANY FUTURE SHOPPING LISTS.

$2.99 FOR A $1.29 SUNDAE.

OMG...WTF... YES, YOU HAVE TO BE SHIFTING ME.
