Falling out of favor with guests...
The top ten parks in the country. Typically, of the five Disney parks in the States ( now 6 with California adventure)... four of the five were in the top ten. And Magic Kingdom was usually #1.
The latest polls of park going guests has only one Disney park in the top ten... And Magic Kingdom is down to #3.
There's a multitude of changes at Disney, all aimed to basically sucking every dollar from every guest for everything. Price increases on everything and charges for things that were traditionally free. Add to this all the policy changes, procedure changes, and changes in attractions and events (parades, fireworks, and shows) and many guests, are totally put off and upset. With shows being cancelled, and attractions shut down only makes you feeling that you are paying more and getting less. Social and political issues that Disney is intangled with also adds to the problems currently plaguing Disney.

Regimented reservations for the Parks, rides, and restaurants are pretty much a mandatory, leaving no flexibility for spontaneity which was a great freedom in the past.
Lots if things that were once always available are temporary shut down, or permanently discontinued. Plagued with personal shortages, power failures, and attraction breakdowns only adds to the disappointments.
It's either keeping people from going to Disney and looking to other parks, or going to Disney parks and being disappointed at all the changes. Plus all the construction that is on going not only in the parks but the report hotels. Worst of all, moist guests say that the one Disney magic that made for the most wonderful experience... Well, it's gone. The magic is gone. All in all not good for Disney long term.
Currently capacity crowds are making for long wait times for everything. Why so crowded? Everyone busting out if the covid isolation. And once that is over, we'll just have to see how this affects Disney.
Perhaps once all the construction is completed and all rides, attractions, and shows are restored things will make Disney worthy of everyone's had earned dollars, and the magic returns.
Of course, that's just my personal perspective.
