Precarious and inevitable

Perspective... So much for the lighter side. 

Precarious, inevitable, catastrophic.

Words that we think of in extremely limited terms.

And we only see devastation in isolated incidents.

Scattered over time.

Good thing we don't think about this to often. 
Going thought time,  living our meager existence,

At least in terms of the earth.

But what if the frequently and intensity increased

and resulted in catastrophic chain reactions?

And when will earths history repeats itself? 
There's a reason why 99% of all species 

on earth have gone extinct. 
So we live a precarious existence.

unknowingly waiting for the inevitable.

Life on Earth is precarious.

And we are powerless against nature's forces.

Guess I watch to many scientific shows.

The nature of earth and its cycles...

Wreaking havoc on the land and the people.

Chain reactions all at once.

Extreme weather crop failures,

No electricity,  no drinking water,

No services. 
The breakdown of civilization. 

Drought and crop failures, returning ice age, 

massive wildfires, explosive methane ruptures,  

pandemics, massive lightening storms.

Earthquakes,  tsunamis, 

Volcanic eruptions, hurricanes,

Mega Tornadoes, massive flooding.

Melting of the ice caps oceans raising,

No where to go, no where to hide...

We will be part of that 99%.
Solar gamma ray burst

That would rip away Earth's atmosphere.

Asteroid Planet killers.
