Time slips?
Generally it's a brief disassociation with a current reality of time, to that of some time in the past. Some people have had experiences that have lasted longer, but almost all seem to be of brief duration. Some almost dream like where current reality is faintly overwritten in part by a location and events from some time in the past....and sometimes this is reported as an complete 100 percent immersion into the past be it just for a few brief moments. They can experience this with all their senses... sight, sound, smell, and sometimes touch. Call it a phenomenon of nature...idoeno, but it certainly seems to be an experience that has had real implications to certain individuals throughout time. So what's the difference between DNA hereditary memory and time slips? Perhaps these are two different phenomenon, or perhaps intermingled simply in the way they are perceived. Nevertheless, very real to people that have experienced it. There's too many credible people who have had these experiences for them to be simply discount and explained away.
A favorite topic of science fiction books, tv, and movies for decades... but like most sci-fi... It's representing unexplained occurrences from the past or things that will certainly be in our future.
So what will the future hold? Certainty greater understanding... and sci-fi will give way to science fact.
Just something to think about late at night or in the wee hours of the morning... Our simply day dreaming on a carefree afternoon.
