Trains were king on land beating out the the stage coach & pony express only a few decades before. Electricity was still a novelity and electric devices and appliances with being developed quickly. People were still alive that fought in the civil war. Many things were simpler and life was a lot slower. Radio was young and a favorite family past time on Saturday nights. Steamships were the king of transportation between the continents. So what hasn't changed? Well, you can still write a letter and mail it via the postal service. The light bulb still exists, all be it recently replaced by led technology. Music is still being played by musicians even thought mp3 players & streaming are now king. So what has remaines completely unchanged? Dogs are still mans best friend. Campfires are still the best on chilly evenings. Staring at the moon is still relaxing & peaceful. Skies are blue, grass us green, and the mountains are still beautiful. Enjoying a sunset on the water is still breath taking. Absolute quiet, listening to the snow falling covering everything in a blanket if white still remains the same, depending where you're at. Spring flowers and light showers is still beautiful. Fall colors are still brilliant. And a good steak over an open flame is still the best. The simple pleasure of watermelon can not be rivaled. Star gazing with someone you love is still priceless.
So while technological advancements enhance our lives the simple unchanged pleasures remain the best. The moral of this post? Despite this fast moving world with all its tech...
