IN THE NEWS THIS MORNING: The new movie by Steven King... "IT". In the news this morning,  just after its release,  real people that are clowns are upset about the way the movie portraits clowns so creepy and scary. They are already loosing bookings and having bookings cancelled. They deem the movie is so devastating to their livelihood that they are banding together to protest the movie at theaters. They plan to persuade public opinion so that people won't go to see the movie... Convincing the public  that clowns are getting a bad reputation.
NOW... Given what they plan to do, and what they want the end result to be... It's extremely hard to believe that protects in front of theatres, dressed as clowns, being upset and anger over the movie... how is this gonna make things any better for them.

Personally,  I have since childhood always thought that clowns,  any clowns,  anywhere,  not matter their costume or the face painting ... are creepy and scary. I wouldn't plan on watching any movie with clowns, anywhere,  anytime. Sorry, to me they're always creepy, and always will be. Angry scary clowns in front of a theatre certainly isn't gonna change that. In fact, if you weren't already creeped out before by clowns... You probably would be now. Just saying.
So that's my bit if humor in the news today.
