When Television was getting started.
It was the embodiment of then modern technology.
Speech, sound, and pictures… instantly… right in your home.
A marvel of it’s time… strange and odd to look at now.
First only in black & white, and later a giant leap into color.
So here’s a look back into history.
I remember this… it’s what was broadcast for several minutes
before the daily broadcast actually began.
( Tv only broadcast morning to late evening )
The luxury version…
Tv, radio, and record player… all in one unit.
The working man’s model…
Than Color was introduced…
yep… an amazing devise.
and a treat for the whole family.
Families gathered around the Television for the evenings entertainment.
Just like they had gathered about the family radio for years before.
A new age had begun that would change things forever.
and just look where we are at today!
At one time we were delighted to just see moving pictures in color
and happy to get 3-4 channels, even if 2 were snowy.
